It only takes one day to send the sample

Currently, Absen mainly has ten LED series, which are widely used in hotels, shop, home, office and other places. What’s more, these products are all available from stock. It only takes one day to send the sample, and customers can receive products within 7 days. By this way, customers can save much time and money paid on the procurement chain.

OSRAM AG has signed a contract with the Wuxi New District Administrative Committee to build a new assembly plant in the Chinese province of Jiangsu. LED chips will be packaged in housings at the new backend facility starting in late 2013; with the Regensburg and Penang (frontend) plants exclusively continuing to make the actual LED chips. “The new assembly plant will improve our access to the world's largest single market in the lighting industry,” said Aldo Kamper, CEO of the Osram Opto Semiconductors business unit. “As one of the world-renowned LED lighting corporations, OSRAM's new plant in Wuxi will definitely enhance the development of the LED industry in both Wuxi Municipality and Jiangsu Province,” said Lixin HUANG, Member of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial CPC Committee and Secretary of Wuxi Municipal CPC Committee in China.

In the face of sharply rising demand for LED-based products, Osram has opted to set up a further plant in Wuxi, China, to augment the capacity of its chip plants in Regensburg, Germany and Penang, Malaysia. With this move, the company is strengthening its access to the lighting industry’s largest single market worldwide. The new plant is scheduled to be up and running by the end of 2013. It will be able to accommodate up to 1,600 employees when fully operational.

The new backend facility at Wuxi near Shanghai will install LED chips manufactured in the frontend plants at Regensburg and Penang in their housings. The new assembly plant in Wuxi will also augment the Penang plant by manufacturing general, automotive, and industrial lighting products for key segments of the Chinese market. The plant’s added back-end LED capacity, will enable the company to capitalize on China's fast-growing market and support the two plants in Germany and Malaysia. “We have attained a leading position in the semiconductor sector over the course of almost 40 years. The facility in China marks another step forward in extending this lead,” said Aldo Kamper.

Semiconductor lighting industry in Shenzhen develops rapidly in recent years

Orion’s LED fixture, designed to perform at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit, has been retrofitted in more than 3 million square feet of freezer and cold-storage space in facilities across the nation in the past several months. Companies with Orion LED technology in their facilities include US Foods, Sysco, Americold, and Save-A-Lot. The three approved Orion LED fixture models vary based on application-specific lens configuration. Orion’s LED fixtures are designed to replace traditional high intensity discharge and T8 and T5 fluorescent fixtures. Orion’s LED fixtures use 123 watts compared to 400-watt HIDs and 298-watt fluorescents. According to its Web site, the DLC is a collaboration of utility companies and regional energy efficiency organizations committed to raising awareness of the benefits of efficient lighting in commercial buildings. Entertainment applications will adopt the new LEDs

The number and breadth of applications that require amber LEDs is tremendous,” said Frank Harder, VP of Product Marketing at Philips Lumileds. “Markets including automotive, entertainment, roadway, signaling, and many others use amber LEDs. With better efficiency and more light output, LUXEON Rebel PC amber makes it that much easier to reduce energy consumption with an environmentally friendly product.lamps to LEDs because they didn’t produce enough light and couldn’t operate effectively at higher temperatures. With the advances provided by LUXEON Rebel PC Amber, yellow traffic signals will be converted, warning lights and beacons on vehicles and obstructions will switch and entertainment applications will adopt the new LEDs. numbers of amber LEDs. With LUXEON Rebel PC Amber, manufacturers will be able to use fewer LEDs and lower other component costs because of the improved light output and particularly the stable color over temperature, something that has been problematic for many ...
