It is know that LED light bulbs are to be treated for heat dissipation and to have uniform lighting. Solution from LIQUIDLEDS is to use “liquid” in LIQUIDLEDS LED light bulbs.  With the technology of Liquid Immersed Thermal Management Solution, the liquid not only acts as an excellent medium for heat dissipation of light bulbs but also helps reshaping the luminosity in the beam angle as well as uniform lighting of the light bulbs.LED lights are designed for stylish architectural led high bay light or for landscape lighting, as well as spot lighting points of attraction or for public lighting as needed. The LED light unit has a mounting bracket so it can be secured with bolts anywhere it is needed.The white LED modules used in the two units were manufactured by Nichia Kagaku Kogyo KK and consist of four elements. The modules were also used in the LED headlight of the Toyota’s "RX450h", which was released in April 2009, according to Koito Seisakusho.

Seisakusho used LED headlights for the first time in the world on Toyota's "Lexus LS600h" in May 2007, when five LED modules were needed for the headlight. Now, due to the improved LED efficiency, the number of LED modules needed for the LED headlight for the new Prius has been reduced to three.The two headlights mounted on the new Prius are 66W, slightly more than 30% lower compared with 100W of the headlights of the LS600h, according to Koito Seisakusho.In recent months, Samsung and other LCD TV manufacturers have actively promoted LED-backlit models and hence thirsted for blue LED chips. At present, Samsung has booked large portions of Epistar and Formosa Epitaxy`s capacity to secure supply of the components, which has driven the two Taiwanese LED chipmakers to boost outputs.

Epistar says it plans to outsource some capacity as well as introduce MOCVD (metal organic chemical vapor deposition) to loosen its production lines, and will expand its in-house downstream production capacity, in an effort to boost its existing output of 1.1 million LED chips to 1.4 million units by the end of this year.Formosa Epitaxy has invested a total of US$4.5 million in capacity expansion this year, after the plan to raise capitalization of its plant in Shandong, northern China by US$3 million recently. The firm will expand its laser engraving lines before setting up new epitaxial wafer production lines.
