Open to the public but of extra interest to production people throughout the entertainment industry

The new product aims at general lighting applications and suits for indoor lighting, incandescent replacement bulb, flashlight and even direct-lit LCD backlighting applications.LED lighting presentation. Open to the public but of extra interest to production people throughout the entertainment industry, this lightshow/product demonstration will be held at Fringe Central, in the ArtWorks Theatre, 6569 Santa Monica Boulevard, in Hollywood.

There will be three show times for the “Layers of Light” demonstrations on Thursday, June 23rd, 2011: 10:00am, 11:30am, and 1:00pm. ETC encourages people to drop in any time between 10:00am-3:00pm to see the new ETC lighting gear on display, ask questions, and request further demos.

Playwright Catherine Pelonero, whose comedy Another Effing Family Drama will show June 11, 16, 18, 25, and 26 at Fringe Central, is employed with the company.The company presents a new Chip-on-Board (COB) led high bay light series to offer a solution that addresses important issues in general lighting replacement applications.

Despite Nichia planned to enter into LED markets in China

This emerging potential for green LED applications follows on the heels of an announcement of applications for blue LEDs on April 25, 2012. NGK is now poised to apply its technology to the inverters used in hybrid and electric vehicles, power amplifiers for base stations of wireless communication, and other power devices.
