the city of Broken Arrow is also in the process of converting to LED technology

The company said that, “The certification accompanies tax benefits and some chances to enter into the public procurement market of America, to say nothing of an increased awareness in its private sector. Building on this cornerstone, we will beef up our presence in the global led linear high bay light illumination industry.”

Reportedly, earlier this year, city workers have replaced more than a thousand traffic lights in the downtown area. The city's been gradually converting all signals to LED's since 2004. Throughout the years they've seen 70 to 90 percent in energy savings.

In addition, the city of Broken Arrow is also in the process of converting to LED technology. Officials say it's saving the city $3,700 dollars a month. There are plans to put energy efficient led high bay light in the municipal buildings as well as the school district.
