According to the company, the Winline 607 LED Submersible Light incorporates a patent pending method called led linear high bay light Technology, used to keep the fixture from overheating. This technique moves water through a pure copper heat-sink, providing maximum cooling to the LEDs. Designed to be the most powerful, reliable and easiest to implement submersible LED luminaire, the Winline 607 LED Submersible Light is suitable for installations up to 3 meters deep.

Curently, the city has installed four different types of pedestrian fixtures designed by Hubbell Lighting in one city block. Cobrahead styled fixtures designed by GE Lighting will soon be installed.

To complement downtown area’s pedestrian friendly zone, the light fixtures from Hubbell will be equipped with features such as dimming capabilities and movable shades.

In the downtown region, there are a total of 1400 mercury vapor streetlights.And mercury vapor fixtures that needed replacement were no longer available is the challenge that Greenville city officials have to settle.North Carolina-based energy supplier, Duke Energy is making efforts to introduce led high bay light to the city.
