Led Link Optics designs and manufactures optics for solid-state lighting companies such as Cree, Edison, Philips Lumileds, Nichia, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, Samsung LED and Seoul Semiconductor.

Its product line includes secondary led linear high bay light lenses in a variety of packages with different beam pattern and size options for use in residential, commercial, street and architectural lighting applications.DTE owns the light poles and would replace 31 street light fixtures under a sole source bid. The new lights would be retrofitted onto the existing light poles and save an estimated $2,100 annually.

In 2009, the city received $731,100 in grant funding that was used for energy retrofits at the Mike Modano Ice Arena — the single largest project — the Bailey Recreation Center and the Westland Police Department.

“This will close that grant down. It's a pilot program with the led high bay light in Annapolis Park,” said Mayor William Wild. “It will give us a good chance to look at those lights since they will all be in the same neighborhood.”The villages would be among 120 villages that would be covered under the project in the country. This was announced by Lord Amir Bhatia, House of Lords, England and vice-chairman of the India800 foundation.
