Samsung has enjoyed an early lead in the market but faces deepening competition. As the price premium for LED-backlight models have fallen, Samsung plans to offer a broader lineup in 2010 to expand the market. Samsung said in September it aimed to sell at least 2 million LED TVs in 2009 and 10 million or more in 2010.
