the panel by means of an optical light guide system

This new agreement builds on a very successful existing relationship between Nu Horizons and Sharp in North America," comments Rick Fullarton, Distribution Sales Manager Northern Europe at Sharp Microelectronics Europe. "Nu Horizons' combination of world-class engineering support, technical sales and marketing resources, alongside their clear focus on demand creation, makes them a perfect fit for Sharp Microelectronics Europe."

LCD panel to a new level of smoothness. BeoVision 10 is discretely hinged in the left or right-hand side, allowing you to manually pull it out to an angle of 45 degrees from the wall which offers you extended viewing comfort. The slim design of BeoVision 10 is obtained by applying a new LCD technology, where an edge-type LED backlight is used, and by placing the chassis and the loudspeakers below the LCD screen. The backlight unit consists of a large number of white LEDs positioned all around at the edge of the panel. The light from the LED’s is spread evenly across the panel by means of an optical light guide system.

The entire TV solution is covered by an elegant front glass with a sophisticated anti-reflection coating and framed by a high-gloss polished aluminium profile on both front and rear. The two aluminium profiles are angled which means they take up a minimum part of the total glass covered TV surface. This has resulted in one large piece of black glass in a square format which enhances the impression of the TV as an elegant wall decoration when switched off.

The gap filler's minimal silicone content makes it suitable for use in silicone-sensitive applications including medical electronics, laser optics and telecommunications where silicone-based led high bay light outgassing can lead to contamination and condensation issues or leave oily residues that interfere with process applications.

the adoption of energy-efficient LED lighting across their campuses

Nuventix SynJet coolers are available now and already providing silent operation, long life, and optimal cooling to allow designs to incorporate the increased brightness necessary for large-scale commercial and consumer product acceptance. Bias SynPower modules are available in sample quantities. The workshops were key first steps in the launch of a new DOE SSL research and development (R&D) manufacturing initiative to enhance product consistency and quality and to accelerate cost reductions through manufacturing improvements. More than 350 total participants—chip makers, fixture and component manufacturers, and others—joined DOE at the workshops to examine underlying issues related to materials, equipment, and other factors that influence SSL product quality and cost. The Fairfax workshop attendees identified key barriers and recommendations toward lower-cost, higher-quality SSL products, and this input was used to develop a “strawman” roadmap for review at the Vancouver worksho...

LED lighting to reduce both power consumption

The new product is designed for use in bus & taxi stops, benches and walkway coverings and other public spaces. It is set to sell from July 20, exclusive to the Japanese market, targeting municipalities and led linear high bay light private companies. And the two manufacturers also propose its use for a wide range of applications across Japan. Its key features including:Firstly the shelter's solar power generating system can supply electricity for surrounding electrical needs, such as lighting for advertising displays, with excess power being sold to the power utility companies, thus helping to meet expected power shortages in Japan during the summer. Secondly, LED lighting to reduce both power consumption and CO2 emissions at night. Moreover, the shelter can play as emergency power supplier in the event of a disaster, as it has an independent power outlet that could be used to charge mobile phones or other vital electronics. During the several years, LED lights have gradua...
